I’m a technical & creative writer who studies words. I crave the knowledge of all the words & when to use them. I like writing technical documents like manuals, contracts, & proposals, but I love writing poetry. If you like writers who pour over their work, who write, edit, edit, edit, and get it all done early, then you should probably hire me.
I know how to use the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Prezi, Salesforce, & I get a kick out of learning new software.
Proposals
These are just a few of the 400+ proposals I authored, edited, & formatted in collaboration with subject matter experts & various key departments.
Presentations
I worked with subject matter experts & presenters—sometimes taking on those roles myself—to create engaging, visually interesting, & informative presentations.
Contracts
These are examples of the hundreds of contracts I wrote, formatted, & edited. These contracts were legally sound, functioned within required contract management systems & met client expectations
Manuals
Instruction manuals should be clear, concise, & cohesive. They should communicate every aspect of a task with total accuracy. I worked with subject matter experts & even became an expert to create these manuals.
Comprehensive Editing
As a freelance technical writer, I edited white papers & full doctoral dissertations for graduate students for whom English was a second language. I also edited dozens of résumés for clients & friends, positioning them to get the jobs they went after.
Creative Writing
My major in college was Creative Writing with a concentration in poetry, so I care about it at least a little. In creative writing, two things pique my interests: seeing the mundane from a slanted perspective, & creating beauty in the form of words. I’ve also been working on novels in my spare time.
