Sabre Airline Solutions
This training guide was part of an externship for Sabre Airline Solutions, the world’s leading provider of technology solutions for the travel industry. I collaborated with a 4-person team to edit an outdated training guide on ground support equipment. We edited for content, organization, style, & design. This manual was formatted to conform to Sabre’s document & brand standards. We consulted with a variety of SMEs & presented our final project at Sabre’s headquarters. My team won second prize in the competition.

How to Use a Rate Card
I designed this training manual to inform agents & salespeople about how to use pricing sheets for vehicle service contracts. Since this document is meant as an instructional guide to an unfamiliar document, it required me to see the rate cards that were so familiar to me from an outsider perspective. I designed, wrote, & edited this document. In addition, I acted as a subject matter expert after learning how to perform the necessary functions with the pricing sheets myself. This manual is used by sales agents nationwide today.

Form Mapping Technical Training Bulletin
I created this technical training manual as a guide for my eventual replacement at SouthwestRe. Mapping form fields into a PDF was a major portion of the contract creation procedure, & was seen as one of the more complicated aspects of the job (by those who don’t realize how complex writing a contract can be). I outlined, wrote, designed, & created every asset in the document. Since this was meant to serve employees with no training at all, every step is outlined in extreme detail.

Texas Parks & Wildlife Boating Safety Manual
This project is a redesign & rewrite of an outdated boating safety manual. Areas of concentration included document design, writing, & comprehensive editing. This manual was used as sample work for technical writing students in the Technical Communications department at the University of North Texas.
